Ms Pham Thi Phuong Thao

Thao joined the ASEAN Studies Centre at ISEAS in November 2012. Before that, Thao worked in different diplomatic missions in Hanoi, Vietnam, including the Embassy of Finland and the Embassy of India, covering research, public diplomacy activities and communications. Thao holds a Bachelor of Economics in Foreign Economic Relations from the Foreign Trade University, Hanoi and her research interests include economics, particularly regional trade.

Ms Nur Aziemah Aziz

Aziemah joined the ASEAN Studies Centre at ISEAS in October 2015. Prior to joining ISEAS, Aziemah was a communications and a public relations officer in the government and private sector. She was also an Education Officer with the Parliament of Singapore. Aziemah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Her research interests includes ASEAN, security and terror issues in the region, indigenous studies in Asia as well as the use of social media in politics.
