Dr Siwage Dharma Negara, ISEAS Fellow shared his opinions on Indonesia’s recent protectionist policy and its impact on the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community on Channel NewsAsia’s discussion programme, “Between The Lines” on 2 September 2015.
The discussion programme examined Indonesia’s tendency towards economic nationalism as Indonesia’s populist campaign of self-sufficiency and increased domestic content continues to run counter to the free-trade objectives of ASEAN.
