Regional Outlook Forum 2016

 

ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute held the 19th edition of the Regional Outlook Forum (ROF), our flagship event, at the Island Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel on 12 January 2016.

The forum was attended by about 550 participants from the diplomatic and policy communities in Singapore, international organisations and academic institutions, the business sector, public agencies and local and international non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

Norshahril Saat’s Yusof Ishak Book featured by NUS Central Library

 

The book Yusof Ishak: Singapore’s First President by Norshahril Saat, ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute Fellow, has been featured by NUS Central Library as one of the highlighted publications on Singapore’s Independence and Nation-building 1965 and beyond.

Published in 2015, the book is a biography of Singapore’s first President, Yusof Ishak. An exhibition gallery “Yusof Ishak in Pictures: Life & Times of Singapore’s First President” is also currently on display at the ISEAS Library, ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute.
